Saniya Kirloskar – Instructional Leader
Saniya joined the Teach For India Fellowship in 2015 as she believes in the power of excellent education and wanted to understand the ground realities and challenges of the public education system. As a TFI Fellow, she developed the ‘Science lab’ in her school and also led the ‘Design For Change’ project based on awareness of Garbage Management. She believes that the stakeholders have a valuable role to play in school transformation, and has always worked towards strengthening her relationship with parents and the school community.
Prior to her Fellowship, she worked in Fleetguard CSR as a Science resource person in a school located in rural Maharashtra. She has also interned with SECMOL (Students’ Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh). Saniya has completed her Masters in Biodiversity and graduated in Biotechnology from Fergusson College, Pune. She loves to travel and likes to connect with diverse people from different parts of the world. She is currently leading a primary grade classroom at the Paathshala Project in Gular, Rishikesh.
