Kamakshi Bohra – Instructional Leader
A recent graduate in philosophy from Kamala Nehru College of University of Delhi, Kamakshi believes in an individual’s power to bring change if they set their heart to it, so she does everything in her capacity to have positive change reflected. Her drive to contribute her bit towards causes she feels passionately about is invariably stirred by thought expressed by ethicist Peter Singer: “If it is in our power to prevent something bad from happening, without thereby sacrificing anything of comparable moral importance, we ought, morally, to do it.”
In her three year long association with a student led community project, Chehel, she saw translate into actions the strength that hope & faith nurtures, potential that positive learning environment holds in transforming lives of children. Aiming to expand such learning spaces to more children in the country, she decided to further her grounds of learning by joining SEF. She can be seen combining the best of her experiences while leading her children at the Paathshala project in Gular, Rishikesh. When she is not moralizing life, sit with her to talk about your dog or maybe your fancy stationery collection, and her eyes will magically light up!
